STUDENT HEALTH FEE

All students attending American Jewish University are charged a Student Health Fee.  This fee covers the cost of running the Student Health Center on the Familian Campus and the psychological services provided by the University.  The health fee is NOT health insurance.

HEALTH HISTORY AND IMMUNIZATIONS

American Jewish University requires an initial health history and record of immunizations be on file with the Student Health Center prior to your first semester of enrollment.  Students with incomplete health records may not be able to register for classes.

Having your health records complete with the Student Health Center may save you from unnecessary headaches and running around during your time here at AJU.  Students that intend to accept internships, work in a hospital or school or possibly study abroad may need to provide these agencies with health information.  A complete health record with the Student Health Center may make this process much simpler.

Inquiries about health insurance may be directed to the Dean of Students, Ms. Nellie Goodarznia at ngoodarznia@aju.edu or her Executive Assistant, Ms. Samantha Weinberg at 310-476-9777 x539 or sweinberg@aju.edu.

Inquiries about health history and/or immunizations should be directed to the nurse: Nurse@aju.edu, or 310-476-9777 x219.
