BiographyRabbi Yael Saidoff currently holds an adjunct faculty position in the Jewish Studies Program at the American Jewish University. To date, she has developed courses in comparative mysticism, Mussar (character development), and Jewish Thought. She is also the head Rabbi at Makom Ohr Shalom, a renewal community in Encino, where she leads participatory, musical services that apply the insights of Jewish tradition to foster spiritual growth. She has also served as the associate Rabbi at Beit T'shuvah, a residential addiction treatment facility and synagogue. She has brought meditation to synagogues across Los Angeles, developing committed practitioners and spiritual seekers. She holds a Rabbinical Ordination from the Ziegler Rabbinical School of the American Jewish University.
